Technology & Bastet Tech

The Yanakowa remain strongly connected to horses, open country, hunting, and highly mobile ways of life. They make selective use of manufactured goods but resist large-scale industrialization and the spread of Bastet Tech into every part of society. Their strength lies in mobility, tracking, knowledge of terrain, and the ability to travel without relying on roads, railways, or industrial supply chains. To outsiders they may appear less technologically advanced, but their societies are extremely well adapted to the environments they inhabit.

The Yanakowa approach

Bastet Tech in practice

The Yanakowa reject Bastet Tech, relying on horses, tracking, terrain knowledge, and their relationships with blessed cats. They make selective use of manufactured goods while preserving ways of life that do not depend on transformation or navigation devices.
