The Eshokta reject much of industrial Bastet Tech more strongly than any other major culture. Their civilization places greater importance on secrecy, ancient knowledge, ritual practice, spiritual traditions, medicine, poisons, hidden architecture, and older methods of interacting with the Blessing. This can create the misleading impression that they are technologically backward. In reality, the Eshokta possess forms of knowledge that industrial societies often cannot reproduce. Their hidden sanctuaries, medicines, rituals, and ancient devices may accomplish things that modern engineers struggle even to understand.
